Ensuring a safe environment for every swimmer is our top priority.

Role of the Welfare Officer

This voluntary position is closely regulated by Swim England. The Welfare Officer prioritizes the needs of all swimmers under 18 but is also available for older swimmers to discuss any issues.

Qualifications: Full DBS check, Safeguarding & Protection Course, and "Time to Listen" course.

Club Welfare Officer

A parent of a current AST swimmer. Available for children and parents to talk to about any concerns regarding safety or happiness.

Please note: As a volunteer with a full-time job, every effort will be made to respond within 48 hours.

If you believe a child has been harmed or is at immediate risk and you cannot reach the Welfare Officer, contact:
